I couldn't believe that i was really able to sleep until 9 on my first day. But that was probably because we were up until 11:30 yesterday. I tried to wake Rick, we packed our luggage and checked out of the Rosen Inn. We went to Walmart to get a few things i didn't bring because of the Christmas presents i didn't have enough space in may luggage.

Actually we planned on doing this fast so we could go torwards Miami soon but things never turn out the way you expect and it's hard for me to leave Walmart without looking through everything. Happy and with a little less money in my wallet we left Walmart. I used a coupon for my Iphone. It's screen was in need of a repair and i found a cheap voucher on gropon. I thought i could leave my Iphone there and just come back after our honeymoon to pick it up again. But the nice guy at the phone store said i could pick it up at about 2 o'clock again. We wanted to go to Ricks family anyway and the weather wasn't so great (64°F), so we waited at my father-in-laws house. I was sure we wouldn't miss anything in Miami if the weather is so bad anyway. Therefore I left Ricks phone number and we went to Perkins. Finally i could have american breakfast again.

To make sure we won't come by empty-handed we ordered a pie-cake. Right: Half pie half cake. - Delicious :-)

Family

My Father-in-Law told us he'd come a little later so we stayed until 3pm. After we tried to call the phone shop a few times we gave up and decided one hour too late should be enough for my phone to be ready, but when we came there the guy told us he was busy and couldn't fix it yet and he promissed us to start immediately.

So what could we do now? Sure, shopping :-)

When we found a parking spot we walked over to Bells and after a short time of searching i found something. A beach hat for the Keys and sunglasses, because i couldn't find mine at home. What I was really looking for was a purse. I had only one big purse with me what i used for my handluggage and this was simply to big to carry all the time. Finally i found one at PacSun - a new, black Roxy purse - yay :-) It was already 4:30pm so we went back to the Phone Store but this time he meant he'd be all alone at the store and he had so many customers. Honestly I didn't care about the time anymore it wouldn't make a difference if we were in Miami at 8 o'clock or 10 o'clock. We needed a pastime and i was hungry. Right on the other side of the street we saw a Chilis. I love Chilis but i didnt like the Fajitas so much. They were very sour. Ricks Steak was as amazing as always.

While we were waiting for our check we got a call. My Iphone was finally fixed, so we went back and picked it up. Finally we could head out to Miami. We arrived at 10 pm and it was still 74°F. I was happy again maybe we can go swimming tomorrow.

That's our very nice room at Savoy Hotel. It was a bargain. I've never had a room on Ocean Drive with direct beach access and ocean view for € 138,-.
