The flight and the arrival

Orlando, December 13th, 2012

At 3 o'clock my alarm woke me up from being half asleep.

When 3:30 came around my grandmother picked me up. Because the driving conditions were much better than expected we had to make a stop because i didn't want to be there so much earlier. We decided to stop at a gasstation because we wanted to have a small breakfast. But it turned out to be a big one. We got a Trucker breakfast for € 4,90 - so far this is the cheapest thing of the vacation.

So we passed some time but when we got to the airport i still had 3 hours til my flight . Unfortunately i didn't sleep much last night so it was hard for me to keep my eyes open. I didn't even notice the start of the flight because i was so tired, but when i smelled food i was awake again.

I have to say for a long distance flight the service was great. It was one of the best flights i've ever been on. They gave you a choice between 3 meals.

I decided on pasta it was good.

In between meals they served peanuts and pretzels and just before we landed they served vegeterian Pizza.

Immigration and customs took a little over an hour.
My next flight from Atlanta to Orlando was on time too. I went to baggage claim where i finally met my husband again.

We decided to get a small car because my husband said i have to drive too and all the other categories are to expensive for people under 25. After a long talk to the woman at the Alamo counter she talked us into the midsize or convertible for only a few more bucks, so we got the convertible because my husband wanted to ha

After we got to our hotel my sister in law and her kids showed up to see me for the first time.

Because they will leave before christmas we exchanged presents already. Rick walked to the lobby and got pizza and hotwings to share.

Tomorrow we will meet them again and we plan to go to miami at noon.
