We didn't do anything except from getting ready to pick up my family today. We will celebrate New Year's Eve together in Lithia. When we were ready to head out to the airport at about 4pm we first went to Sixt to return the rental car (to get the new rental car afterwards). 1 vacation, 3 cars, 3 car rental companies. The bottom line is that the best one is still Alamo even if we had to wait forever to get a car this time. Quite contrary to the pick up at Sixt the car return was going pretty fast and the shuttle brought us back to the airport immediately. They checked the car right when i parked it there and told me everything was ok with it right after it. We had scheduled an hour for the rental car company to bring us back to the airport and since it was going so fast this time we had about an hour time there. So we went trough the stores and started with the Universal Store. The goods were even more expensive there than the are in the theme parks :-O. Then we went to Skechers and Build-a-Bear. Nonetheless we didn't get anything. We were shocked because the screen showed they were already landed even if it showed delayed for a few minutes first and so we weren't sure if we already missed them. After another 20 minutes i called my brother to make sure they hadn't passed us yet, but he told me there was another plane parking next to their gate so they couldn't get out of the aircraft. 10 Minutes later they were finally here and me and my dad went to Dollar rental cars while the others waited for all their luggage. I almost started an argument there with the woman on the counter because she tried to tell me it wouldn't be possible to go over Toll-by-Plate with any rental car. I knew it was possible i just did it with my Alamo car and they just charged the toll to my credit card. Anyway this bitch was RUDE the whole time we were talking to her. She acted like we didn't understand her right but she didn't change her ways when Rick came and talked to her and she even told us to do whatever we want to. At the end i got the E-pass there because she told me we would get high fines and there is no other way to pay our tolls than by E-pass (- bad service).
We walked to the parking garage and chose a Dodge from the Mini Van - Choiceline. First we thought we wouldn't be able to put all our luggage in but after stacking everything it wasn't a problem.
All of us were hungry. My family after the long flight and we after doing nothing :-) We stopped at Hooters and had some wings. Then we went to pick up Rick's Stepbrother. He will join us on our trip to the Universal Studios tomorrow.
There will be a couple of pics tomorrow because everybody took a whole lot on their first day in Florida.
