Marathon, December 19th 2013
Unfortunately we have to leave the Doubletree Grand Key by Hilton today, but at least they gave us enough cookies for our trip :-). This means we had to get up early, had breakfast and packed our luggage. This time i won't post my breakfast pictures. I guess you already know i love bacon :-). We had a great time at Key West but now we have to say Good Bye. Our next place to stay will be Marathon. Currently we don't have any real plans what we are going to do there, but we will see. The only thing we planned on doing on our way back was to visit the Bahia Honda State Park. Since the weather was amazing today it was definitely the right choice. The weather was obviously on our side for our honeymoon. Only once did it rain and ever since that we've never had a shower again. Good for us we rented this convertible ;-), but we can only open the top when our luggage is in the hotel room, because there's not enough room in the trunk.

Here are some pictures of our car:

After a 40 minutes Car ride we arrived at Bahia Honda State Park

First he looked really cool when he climbed the rocks

but then he didn't know how to come down again :-)

We just walked from one side of the park to the other one.

and saw a couple of different Animals

What is hiding here??

Right:

In the Butterfly Garden there were just two butterflies and they were to fast to take any pictures of

When we left the park we just wanted to have a little snack and a cold cocktail

You would think that a US-Citizen would understand the waiter, but honestly it sounded like we could choose  between  8 sushi varities to me too. So Rick asked if he could mix the Nigir/Sashimi and the normal Sushi Rolls on the Sampler and the waitress said it wouldn't be a problem. Before we ordered she told us she's from Russia, maybe that was the reason why she didn't understand us. We got this:

 and this

and this:

What we got was the Sampler with 2 pieces of our ordered Nigiri/Sashimi and a whole roll of each ordered Sushi. I think it's shameful the waitress didn't even ask us if we were serious when we ordered sushi for 80 Dollars and even told her that we would share it and maybe order more if we are still hungry.
At least we could take the Parrot-Cup home.

With the cup and 3 to go boxes we headed out to our new Hotel. Rick wanted to have the sushi for breakfast in the morning.
We'll stay at the Sea Dell Motel for 2 days. It's not the best room I've ever seen but clean and in satisfactory condition.
