Home, sweet home and a real redneck party

Winter Garden, December 23rd 2012

This morning we slept in a little bit. When we finally got up we went to have breakfast with my Dad-in-law Rick and his girlfriend Sue. The Country Breakfast in Wintergarden is a nice little restaurant with an amazing breakfast.



 After breakfast we went to Target to get a pancake mixture for my grandma and check out all the goods. Moreover i tried my first red valet cake - delicious.

On the way back we planed on visting Ricks Stepsister and her kids. Unfortunately we only met her mom, aunt and Granny at their house. Anyway we walked in to say hello and granny told us a lot about her trips to Europe. Moreover they told us Micah, Ricks Stepbrother was in town and currently visiting his cousin in the neighbourhood. So we stopped there and stayed for a few minutes. It's not so warm at the moment just between 50 and 60°F and we had a seat at the bonefire what was already prepared for the evening. They invited us to their party and to their drinking games in the evening. The game was about drinking a whole case of beer. Whoevers case is empty first is the winner. "The Case Chase"

We thought about it but actually I was pretty tired and I didn't really want to go because the whole driving was pretty exhausting. When we finally arrived at home i did the laundry and took a shower. Actually I wanted to be lazy after that but Rick wanted to go to the party. I put on my warmest clothes real quick and we went back again, but we didn't play the game. I couldn't anyway because I had to drive and Rick didn't bring a whole case. It was hard for me to understand any of this conversations. They call theirselves Rednecks and they all have a very southern slang.

Before we left i thought i maybe I need one or two beers too, so i told Rick to get beer on the way home and when Micah heard we would go home have a few drinks and he could stay at the RV over night he decided to come with us. We started another bonefire at the backyard and finished our own case of coronas. At 2 o'clock in the morning we went to bed.
